The Reskilling Ukraine project has announced enrolment for a free training course, “Welder,” which will start on 2 February 2026. The course will last four weeks and will be held in person in Kyiv at the training centre of KSE ProfTech’s partner. The programme includes theoretical training and practical skills development using modern equipment, with the opportunity to obtain a professional certificate.
Participants will learn mechanised welding (MAG 135) and argon arc welding (TIG 141). The training covers the ability to read technical drawings, work with different types of metals, adjust welding modes, perform high-quality welds in different conditions, and comply with safety regulations and quality control standards. The training site is equipped with simulators and professional welding stations, allowing participants to practise their skills without risk.
Women aged 18 and over with basic technical knowledge or a relevant hobby who are motivated to find employment after completing the course are welcome to apply. Participants are offered support in finding work: recommendations, help with CVs, and possible employment through partner companies.
The “Welder” course is part of the OnTrack retraining programme from Reskilling Ukraine. It is designed to help women master a relevant profession in the field of manufacturing and technical specialities.
