Unity for Community announced a new wave of grants to support reforms and recovery in Ukraine

A new project grant competition has been launched in Ukraine as part of the three-year Unity for Community programme, which ISAR Unity is implementing with the support of the European Union. The initiative aims to strengthen the role of civil society in the processes of reform, European integration and the country’s recovery during a full-scale war. Applications will be accepted until 18:00 on 15 February 2026, and the maximum grant amount is UAH 1.5 million.

The project aims to strengthen the participation of civil society organisations in decision-making, analysis, advocacy and the practical implementation of European approaches. CSO teams can submit proposals related to reforms, recovery or European integration, as well as develop local or national initiatives that will help communities adapt to the challenges of war and move towards EU membership.

The competition supports research and analytical products, advocacy and communication campaigns, the development of local policies, the creation of modern spaces for interaction between authorities, communities, and CSOs. It also supports activities aimed at restoring disrupted processes in the fields of education, health care, social protection, or local self-government. Significant attention is paid to partnerships between organisations, authorities, businesses, international structures and local communities.

The implementation of projects will last from six to twelve months, and their launch is expected no earlier than one month after the deadline.
