IOM Ukraine launches call for applications for professional skills development programme

IOM Ukraine has announced the launch of a programme for residents of Dniprovskyi and Kamianskyi rayons of Dnipro oblast aimed at supporting professional development and expanding employment opportunities. Participants will have access to financial and training support to help them adapt to changes in the labour market and strengthen the economic potential of their communities.

The programme provides financial assistance in the amount of about USD 600 for short-term courses that allow people to acquire new professional competences or improve existing ones. A separate block of activities is dedicated to the development of life skills. Participants have the opportunity to attend group and individual sessions that help them learn techniques of psychological resilience, self-regulation and effective interaction in the work environment.

The programme aims to strengthen the economic development of the region. Support in training and personal growth helps candidates to strengthen their competitiveness and expand their employment opportunities in the local labour market. Priority is given to people in need of additional support, including internally displaced persons, veterans, women, young people, people aged 50+, people with disabilities and carers, as well as families facing difficult life circumstances.

Detailed conditions of participation are available on the IOM website. Registration for the competition is open via the official link.
