A new electronic register has been launched in Ukraine to streamline the process of submitting and reviewing applications for state support in the field of culture. It was created by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Digital Transformation on the basis of the Diya.Engine platform, which is already used by dozens of institutions to develop digital infrastructure.
For the first time, the register collects information about all applications submitted for cultural, artistic and media project competitions in one place. The system provides access to evaluation results, expert conclusions, a list of recipients of financial or organisational assistance, as well as data on the use of budget funds. This makes the support distribution mechanism more transparent and allows the public to monitor the process.

The system is currently in test mode — the team is checking its functionality, gathering feedback, and preparing for integration with other state registries. The Dія.Engine platform, on which the registry is built, has already helped create more than 50 digital systems for 26 state institutions.
The software was developed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Eastern Europe Foundation as part of the InnolabES international technical assistance programme, implemented by GIZ with the support of the German government.
