The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture has stated that the National Cashback programme is operating as usual. The ministry denied reports circulating in the media that the programme would be discontinued in 2026. The ministry said that it had not prepared or considered any documents that would provide for the programme’s discontinuation.
The assumptions published by some media outlets were based on changes in regulations, but the government explains that these changes relate to the technical redistribution of funds. Such changes are not related to funding cuts and do not affect the future functioning of the programme.
The ministry notes that in the event of decisions that may affect the operation of the National Cashback programme, the public will be informed in advance and in full. The programme is currently ongoing, and its processes are operating without change. Preparations for payments for September and October are underway, work is being done with participants, and lists of manufacturers are being updated.
