Leading civil society organizations have joined efforts to respond to the consequences of the war and address the humanitarian crisis, signing the Manifesto for the creation of the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations. The initiators were a group of organizations including the Caritas Ukraine Foundation, the Ukrainian Red Cross, and the Right to Protection Foundation.
The Alliance members defined broad areas of common interest: a unified, stronger voice of Ukrainian civil society in the international community, facilitating access of Ukrainian NGOs to information and funding, developing working partnerships with the Ukrainian government, and building a bridge between national and local organizations in Ukraine.
During the full-scale invasion, civil society organizations (CSOs) played a significant leadership role in practical response, especially in the early months of the war. They demonstrated their ability to act quickly and effectively, using established horizontal connections, and worked together with local and national authorities to overcome challenges and address the needs of the population.
Currently, the following organizations are members of the Alliance:

Charitable Foundation “Right to Protection”
