The Ukrainian Veterans Fund of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine (Ministry of Veterans) offers microfinance support to stimulate veteran businesses. The state provides compensation of up to UAH 20,000 for goods and equipment already purchased that are necessary for the development of one’s own business. This is a real and accessible opportunity, as even minor expenses are of great importance at the stage of establishing or expanding a business.
The support program is aimed at a wide range of people who want to develop their own economic initiative. Veterans, their family members, and the families of deceased defenders of Ukraine are eligible for compensation.

The key requirement for receiving assistance is that the applicant must be registered as an individual entrepreneur (FOP 1–3 group) or be engaged in independent professional activity. Funds are reimbursed only for items actually purchased — these can be equipment, tools, materials, or equipment that directly contribute to business processes. Important: the program works on a “reimbursement of expenses incurred” basis; financing for future purchases is not provided.
If the items necessary for the business have already been purchased, it is easy to apply for compensation of up to UAH 20,000. This allows you to recover part of the funds spent, which can be used for further investment in your own business.
