The Ukrainian Veterans Fund (UVF) of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine has announced a free online webinar for veterans, female veterans and their family members, focusing on the key mechanisms for obtaining housing and compensation. The meeting will take place on 19 November at 16:00.
The chief lawyer of the UVF’s crisis and legal support hotline, lawyer Veronika Kozhemyakina, will provide step-by-step explanations on a number of important issues. In particular, she will discuss who is eligible for housing registration and the procedure for submitting the necessary documents.

A separate section is devoted to financial instruments. Participants will learn about various mechanisms for compensation for housing due, as well as receive information about a housing voucher worth 2 million hryvnias, including the requirements for obtaining it and its validity period.
In addition, the webinar will explain in detail how the state mortgage programme ‘єОселя’ works and how veterans and their families can effectively use this tool to purchase their own housing.
The webinar, organised by the UWF, is part of a comprehensive programme to support veterans. The UWF’s crisis and legal support hotline is implemented with the support of NATO in Ukraine as part of the Human Centred Approach programme.
