The number of applications for participation in the state programme Winter Support exceeded 5 million. Of these, almost 952,000 were submitted for children. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.
The programme provides a one-time benefit of 1,000 UAH. The funds can be used to pay for utilities, purchase medicines, Ukrainian-made food products (except for excise goods), books, as well as for charitable contributions or postal services.
Applications can be submitted until 24 December 2025 inclusive via the Diya app or Ukrposhta branches. Payments will be made to applicants within ten days of submission.
