On the night of 4 November, Russian troops shelled the Synelnykivskyi district of Dnipropetrovsk region, hitting civilian infrastructure and private homes. Médecins Sans Frontières supports a hospital located near the front line in this area, where wounded patients were taken.
The Médecins Sans Frontières team admitted seven patients with injuries of varying severity. Unfortunately, one woman died from injuries that were incompatible with life.

“We worked together with doctors from the Ministry of Health to help every patient who arrived,” says Snizhana Kudryavtseva, a nurse with Médecins Sans Frontières. “Every pair of medical hands counts near the front line. That’s why we’re here. One of the patients was a five-year-old girl who had to undergo a traumatic amputation of her limbs.”
Médecins Sans Frontières continues to support hospitals located near the front line. Over the past three months, teams have provided assistance to 221 patients with war-related injuries. This is 45.4% more than in previous months.
