History:
In 2014, a significant event for community foundations took place in Ukraine. At a gathering of the organizational development fund community initiated by ISAR “Ednannia,” it was decided to unite all funds into a single network. This network was to provide grantmaking services, fundraising, and organizational capacity building.
By 2020, the network had significantly expanded. A service catalog was created, and the “Youth Initiative Banks Movement” program was launched. New fundraising tools – a chatbot, a platform, and a mobile app – contributed to the activation of fund collection and project support.
By 2023, the network comprises 20 foundations and 9 youth initiative banks, implementing 6 projects across Ukraine. This reflects significant progress and success in the collaborative efforts of community organizations in supporting social initiatives and developing the country’s public sector.
Since 2024, it has been a member of the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations.
