The East Europe Foundation has announced a new grant competition under the “Resilient and Strong” program, aimed at strengthening Ukrainian civil society organizations that assist people affected by the war. Grant amounts will range from 800,000 to 3 million UAH.
The program will fund initiatives lasting six to twelve months, focused on providing social, psychological, or legal support to vulnerable groups — including women, internally displaced persons (IDPs), people with disabilities, veterans, ethnic minorities, children, and the elderly.
The competition will prioritize projects addressing the consequences of gender-based violence, human rights protection, support for IDPs and national minorities, and psychosocial assistance in affected communities. The program will cover eleven Ukrainian regions, including Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Khmelnytskyi oblasts.
Up to 15% of the grant funds may be allocated to staff expansion or essential equipment purchases. However, grants will not fund the procurement or distribution of humanitarian aid. Eligible applicants include registered non-profit charities and civic organizations in Ukraine with experience operating in the target regions or ready to expand their activities there.
Applications are open through the East Europe Foundation’s grant portal until 6:00 p.m. on December 2, and competition results are expected to be announced in early 2026.
