The National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine cooperates with many international organizations and a network of public organizations of persons with disabilities from more than 20 countries on the development of targeted policies and practices in the field of overcoming the problems of persons with disabilities in Ukraine, implementation of the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

promoting public awareness of positive attitudes towards citizens with disabilities;
international activities and implementation of international legal documents.

History of creation:
The All-Ukrainian Public Organization of the National Association of People with Disabilities was established on September 22, 2001 with the aim of uniting public organizations whose members are people with disabilities, coordinating actions and consolidating their efforts aimed at improving the situation of people with disabilities in Ukraine, promoting the protection of their constitutional rights, increasing their role and social status in society. The network of organizations is represented in all regions of Ukraine.
