The Diia app now allows users to resubmit their applications for compensation under the eVidnovlennya programme if their homes have been damaged again by Russian shelling or attacks. Owners can now record new damage and submit an application immediately, even if repairs from the previous application are still ongoing.

Previously, the system required the completion of repairs, submission of a report, and official closure of the first application before submitting a new one. This created delays in receiving compensation. Now the process has become more flexible and faster — it is enough to re-document the damage through Diia.
According to the government, almost 145,000 families have already received compensation under the eVidnovlennya programme, totalling over 51 billion hryvnias. Of these, more than 116,000 families received payments amounting to 11.3 billion hryvnias for damaged housing.
The eVidnovlennya service and the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property are implemented by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation. This is part of the Digitalisation for Growth, Integrity and Transparency (UK DIGIT) project. This project is implemented by the Eurasia Foundation with the support of UK Dev. The Eastern Europe Foundation is a partner in the project.
