The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Institute for Education Development and the public organisation “Vchysya” (Learn), has presented the first teaching materials for the Ukrainian studies component on the “All-Ukrainian Online School” platform. They are designed for teachers who teach Ukrainian children temporarily living abroad.
The website already offers 69 lessons in Ukrainian language, literature, history of Ukraine, and primary school subjects. Each lesson includes a lesson plan, presentations, interactive exercises, and visual elements that help make learning more accessible and interesting.
“Creating high-quality teaching materials for the Ukrainian studies component programme is our priority in working with children who are forced to live abroad,” said Nadiya Kuzmychova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
By the end of the school year, they plan to publish over 1,100 new lessons. This will enable teachers to adapt the programme more effectively to the needs of their students, and children to continue learning the Ukrainian language, culture and history regardless of their country of residence.
