President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 4630-IX, which regulates the specifics of labour relations under martial law. The document introduces new rules for employees of defence industry enterprises and their employers.
One of the main provisions of the law concerns the reservation of DIC employees. From now on, this is possible even if the employee has violations or problems with military registration. However, such a reservation will only be valid once a year and will not exempt the employee from responsibility for failure to comply with military registration obligations.
The law also establishes a maximum probationary period of 45 days when hiring employees at DIC enterprises. If an employee does not remedy the violation of military registration within the specified period, the employer will have the right to terminate the employment contract.
The purpose of the adopted act is to ensure the smooth operation of defence sector enterprises, while complying with legislative requirements in the field of mobilisation and military registration.
