A new free course, “Financial Management and Strategic HR for NGOs,” has been launched on the Zrozumilo! online educational platform. Its main goal is to help representatives of non-profit organisations build a transparent financial system and effective HR strategy for stable teamwork.
In eight lectures, course participants will learn how to create financial models and develop internal policies, form job profiles and organise the onboarding process, as well as build staff development systems. Special attention is paid to how to combine financial efficiency with the human potential of the team to ensure the stability and growth of the organisation.

Course leaders and leading experts: Larysa Shkurka, Director of Compass Group, certified auditor, organisational development consultant and tax expert in the field of non-profit organisations Halyna Potopalskaya, expert in organisational capacity building and forming effective teams to implement organisational strategies and ensure their sustainable development.
The course is based on practical examples that allow participants to quickly apply the knowledge they have gained in their daily activities. Thanks to simple explanations of complex topics and additional training materials, participants will be able to immediately implement tools that help make the work of organisations more transparent, effective and reliable for partners and donors.
The course “Financial Management and Strategic HR for NGOs” is available free of charge at the link. Successful completion of the course entitles participants to a certificate containing 0.2 ECTS credits, or six academic hours, and counts as self-education.
The online course was developed as part of the Impulse project, which is being implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation and the International Renaissance Foundation with the support of the Norwegian Agency for Development and Cooperation (Norad). It is in partnership with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida)).
