Patients from the UNBROKEN centre took to the catwalk at Lviv Fashion Week in an inclusive clothing collection

Lviv Fashion Week featured a show of inclusive DIY clothing created by designer Fedir Vozianov in collaboration with the UNBROKEN rehabilitation centre. The models were patients of the centre — veterans and people who had lost limbs but not their strength, faith, or desire to inspire others.

The collection presented on the catwalk combined comfort, style and functionality. Vozianov created items with adaptive fastenings and details that suit everyone, regardless of their physical characteristics. According to the designer, this work is not about separate fashion for people with disabilities, but about unity and community. “I am against division. There should be one type of clothing — for everyone. It is very important that veterans participate in such shows because we must be united — both on the catwalk and in life,” he said.

Among the models were Yevhen Shvab, a veteran and former police officer who, after having his leg amputated, decided to become a psychotherapist to help other military personnel; Viktoria Khemich, a Lviv native who returned to active life after an injury and became a UNBROKEN mentor; and Viktor Meshcheryakov, a soldier and musician who lost his arm but continued to make music with a bionic prosthesis.

The show became a symbol of recovery, inner strength, and a rethinking of fashion as a space of equality. As UNBROKEN mentor Viktoria Khemich emphasised, this collection is about rebellion, Ukraine and resilience. The clothes were designed to be comfortable for everyone — people with prostheses, wheelchair users and those who simply love modern design.
