A new mental health centre of the POVERNENNYA network has opened in Kropyvnytskyi. This is the fourth centre of the nationwide network created to support military personnel, veterans and their families who have suffered the psychological consequences of war.
Every year, more than 4,000 defenders of Ukraine and their family members will be able to receive assistance at the centre. The centre operates on the basis of a state medical facility, which has undergone major renovations at the project’s expense and now offers a modern, barrier-free space with comfortable conditions for recovery.

The new centre has three rooms for individual and family therapy, a group work room, a day hospital, a doctor’s office, a reception area, staff break rooms, a storage room, and accessible bathrooms. The space is equipped with modern technology, including the Shiftwave System (USA) for psychological relief, art therapy materials, yoga equipment, and a library of psychology and psychotherapy books.
The centre’s multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses, as well as case managers, social workers and veterans’ support specialists. This approach provides a full cycle of care — from initial counselling to long-term therapy and social adaptation.
