On 23 October, a new inclusive rehabilitation module was opened in the city of Talne, Cherkasy region, which will provide assistance to veterans, their families, and civilians affected by the war. The 72 m² space is equipped for physical, psychological, social and professional rehabilitation.
The module was created as part of a social franchise implemented by the Mindy Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the Coordination Centre for Mental Health under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Barrier-Free NGO, and as part of the mental health programme “How are you?” — an initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska. The project was implemented with the support of the Business Without Barriers community, which includes Visa, PrivatBank and Kernel, as well as with the assistance of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration and the Talnivska City Community.

As noted by Oksana Zbitneva, head of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Coordination Centre for Mental Health, such spaces create new opportunities both for people undergoing recovery and for the communities themselves. She emphasised that the strength of the united community “Business Without Barriers” is being transformed into real solutions that change lives.
The module team works on the principle of a multidisciplinary approach. Assistance is provided by a physical and rehabilitation medicine doctor, a physical therapist, a case manager, a psychologist, a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, and a lawyer.
