On September 6-8, 2024, CIVITTA and Radar Tech will hold AI for Ukraine Recovery Hackathon in Kyiv and Tallinn with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia as part of the Challenger Accelerator. The hackathon aims to unite the efforts of Ukrainian and Estonian AI enthusiasts and startups to develop innovative approaches to Ukraine’s long-term recovery, DiiaBusiness reports.

The hackathon will feature five tracks:
Damage assessment
Cybersecurity
Efficiency and impact of international support
Mental health
Fighting disinformation

Participants of the offline event (part of the team can participate online) will have up to 48 hours of intensive work and networking, during which they will have the opportunity to receive support from mentors and experts, as well as present their final work to representatives of the Ukrainian government, business, and the volunteer movement.

The best teams will be invited to the pre-acceleration program to further develop their solutions. The hackathon will be held in English.

The hackathon is open to AI startups with their own solutions or teams of IT specialists, students, and enthusiasts ready to create solutions from scratch.

You can register for the hackathon as a team or individually by answering the questions in the online form. The application deadline is September 2, 2024.

We have already written that the Government has expanded the list of priority expenditures that the state finances in the first place.
