The SHERIFF Cyber Academy, with informational support from Kyiv Military Hub, has announced the recruitment of inclusive cybersecurity training groups for veterans. The programme will last six months and will be conducted online. The instructors are representatives of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, specialists from the State Special Communications Service, and experts from international companies. Participants will be selected through a competitive selection process.
The training programme includes theoretical and practical modules on the basics of cybersecurity, network engineering, ethical hacking, information security, and penetration testing tools. The course includes practical case studies and laboratory assignments that prepare participants for teamwork and real-world project tasks. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive an international HTB CPTS certificate confirming their skills in penetration testing.
The organisers note that the project has an inclusive focus: the training materials are adapted to the different needs of the students, and mentoring support is provided to participants during their studies. Representatives of the academy cooperate with employers in Ukraine and Europe to facilitate the employment of students after completing the course.
