Ukraine continues to withstand combined attacks from a terrorist country, resulting in emergency power outage schedules in a number of regions. Despite the difficult conditions, Ukrainians remain connected — mobile operators prepared for such scenarios in advance. Their engineering teams are working in enhanced mode, and base stations are switching to backup power from batteries and generators. This allows for stable mobile communication and internet access even during prolonged power outages.
To stay connected at critical moments, it is important to prepare in advance. Ukrainians are advised to download the Map of Resilience Points app, where they can find the nearest place to charge their phone, use the internet or call their loved ones.

For stable internet at home, it is recommended to choose a provider that uses XPON technology. It allows you to stay connected for up to 72 hours during a power outage. You can check whether your provider supports XPON on the interactive map from the Ministry of Digital Transformation and LUN. If the network is already connected, all you need is a power bank to power the router and terminal to continue using the internet even without electricity.
In case of mobile communication interruptions due to overload or damage to stations, you can use national roaming. This feature allows you to connect to the network of another available operator. To do this, you need to disable auto-network selection in your phone settings and manually select one of the available operators — Vodafone UA, Kyivstar or Lifecell.
Ukrainian mobile operators, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, continue to work to ensure that communication remains stable even in the most difficult conditions.
