The cost of residential construction in Ukraine has increased by 10–25% since the beginning of 2025. The price hike is linked to rising material costs, logistics expenses, and higher wages in the construction sector.
“Construction costs in 2025 continue to rise, and this has become a systemic trend rather than a temporary challenge,” – reports Humanitarian Media Hub, citing research data from Interfax-Ukraine.
The most significant price increases were seen in concrete, cement, bricks, and insulation materials — averaging between 10–20%. The cost of construction and installation work has also gone up, reaching as high as 25%. Experts attribute this to higher energy prices, currency fluctuations, and more complex logistics.
Additionally, rising wages in the industry have impacted overall costs — with an average increase of 15–18% over the past year. Analysts expect this trend to continue, though without sharp price surges.
