In Chernivtsi region, enrollment is open for free vocational training programs tailored for veterans, their families, relatives of fallen defenders, and individuals with war-related disabilities. The courses currently available include introductory training in accounting, massage techniques, and nail care services — and registration is ongoing.
“After completing the training, participants will receive a certificate, and the courses are offered in flexible formats — morning or evening groups,” – reports Humanitarian Media Hub, citing Gurt.
The initiative is part of the project Reintegration of War Veterans Through Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours, launched by the Charitable Foundation Social Resources and Initiatives in partnership with DVV International in Ukraine and supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
The program is designed for 45 participants from Chernivtsi and the surrounding region. Eligible applicants include veterans, people with disabilities caused by war, and family members of fallen soldiers. Training begins in July 2025, and registration remains open until November. Participation is free, but spots are limited.
