The Eastern Europe Foundation has launched a new call for proposals under the project Resilient and Capable: Sumy, aimed at supporting initiatives in healthcare, education, and housing infrastructure across war-affected communities in Sumy region.
“Up to 12 civil society organizations are expected to receive support for implementing projects in Sumy region,” – reports Humanitarian Media Hub.
Grants ranging from ₴1,200,000 to ₴1,700,000 will be awarded for projects lasting up to eight months. Applications are open until October 30, 2025, at 16:00, and must be submitted exclusively via the Eastern Europe Foundation’s Grant Portal. Eligible applicants include charitable foundations and NGOs registered as legal entities in Ukraine with confirmed non-profit status.
Since 2008, the Eastern Europe Foundation has implemented over 150 programs and directed nearly $60 million toward national and local initiatives focused on strengthening civil society, empowering communities, and improving governance. The Foundation continues to support grassroots efforts that have the potential to drive meaningful change in local contexts.
