Google grants Ukrainian students a year of free access to AI tools

Google is providing Ukrainian students with free one-year access to the AI Pro suite — a collection of the company’s latest artificial intelligence tools designed for learning, research, and creativity. The program is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science.

Participants will gain access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, a powerful tool for working with text and data, Deep Research for analytics, NotebookLM for organizing knowledge, Veo 3 for video creation, and Jules, an AI assistant for programming. Additionally, users will receive 2 TB of cloud storage, allowing them to save extensive study and project materials.

The initiative aims to make innovative technologies more accessible to Ukrainian youth and to promote the development of digital education. Google notes that this is one of the company’s steps to support students amid the challenges of war, when digital skills are becoming key to competitiveness in the global market.

Registration for access is now open — eligible participants include university students in Ukraine aged 18 and older.
