Software developer at the Department of Digital Transformation and volunteer in the field of humanistic education Volodymyr Babenko won the “Innovative Teacher” category of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2025 national award, according to the UCH.
This award recognises educators who implement modern approaches to teaching and inspire young people to develop. Volodymyr’s victory was a recognition of his professionalism, innovative thinking and contribution to the digitalisation of Ukraine’s educational space.
In addition to his work in the field of digital transformation, Babenko is actively involved in volunteering, developing humanistic education through the YABC, Sprint and Life Skills programmes. His activities combine technological solutions with educational values, helping young people develop critical thinking, empathy and teamwork skills.
Colleagues note that his approach demonstrates how innovation can change education and society. Winning the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine has become a symbol of how digital technologies and humanistic approaches can work together for the benefit of the country’s development.
