The state railway company Ukrzaliznytsia has announced that its online services are temporarily unavailable due to a technical failure on the part of its provider: the ticket purchasing app and official website are not working. The company assures passengers that passenger services have not been suspended and that tickets can be purchased at ticket offices and directly on trains.
Ukrzaliznytsia specialists are working to restore services. Earlier, the company recorded large-scale failures in its IT system, after which online sales were partially restored in backup mode; at that time, the carrier warned of possible temporary technical obstacles during system loading. Passengers are advised to use the company’s official channels and contact railway ticket offices in case of urgent need.
