The President of Poland has signed a law guaranteeing the extension of payments for the use of Starlink terminals in Ukraine. This decision will allow for the continued provision of stable internet connectivity in hospitals, schools, and critical infrastructure facilities, where access to conventional networks is often difficult due to hostilities.
Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov thanked his Polish colleagues for their support, emphasising that Poland remains one of Ukraine’s most consistent partners in the field of digitalisation. According to him, it was Poland that provided more than 29,000 Starlink terminals, which are now an important part of Ukraine’s communications infrastructure.

Starlink has become a critically important technology for ensuring communication in de-occupied and frontline territories. After the destruction of mobile communication base stations, it is SpaceX terminals that allow the military, doctors and utility services to stay connected.
Ukraine has received more than 50,000 Starlink terminals thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Digital Transformation with international partners and donors. Poland provided the largest share — 29,500 devices.
Continued funding for Starlink is an important step in ensuring communications during wartime. This decision underscores that digital resilience has become an integral part of Ukraine’s national security.
