The All-Ukrainian National Unity Radio Dictation will be held this year on Monday, October 27, coinciding with the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, Suspilne Kultura reports.
The tradition, launched by the Ukrainian Radio team back in 2000, gathers thousands of participants from across the country and abroad each year. The dictation is broadcast live on all Suspilne platforms — television, radio, and digital.
Schoolchildren, students, and teachers are traditionally the most active participants, though many others eager to learn or already proficient in the Ukrainian language also join the event.
According to the dictation’s coordinator and Ukrainian Radio executive producer Yuliia Sheludko, interest has grown significantly this year. A record number of individuals and companies have contacted Suspilne, planning to take part in the dictation in a corporate format.
The name of the text’s author and the person who will read it live will be announced later.
