The first hearing restoration center for veterans opens in Kyiv

On September 25, the first hearing restoration center for veterans in Ukraine was inaugurated in Kyiv. The project was launched by Rhino ENT Surgery Clinic with the support of the charitable foundation “Pivnyk.”

“Hearing loss is one of the most widespread consequences of combat. A year ago, within these walls, we performed the first free hearing restoration surgery for a veteran. Since then, we have carried out over a hundred such procedures — and we plan to increase this number to a thousand per year,” said Olena Komar, otolaryngologist and director of the “Pivnyk” charitable foundation.

All hearing restoration surgeries for veterans are performed free of charge. More details are available on the project’s page.
