Pharmacies and medical institutions will soon receive 76,000 doses of Korean-made flu vaccine. The batch has already passed state quality control. More than 100,000 doses of French vaccine are currently being tested and will also be available for vaccination.
In Ukraine, all vaccines undergo mandatory laboratory testing, and only after a positive conclusion from the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control can they be used for preventive vaccinations.
Experts remind us that influenza is not a cold. It starts suddenly with a high temperature, followed by respiratory symptoms: cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat. The disease can cause complications in the heart, lungs, and kidneys. The peak incidence is most often in November-December. Doctors recommend getting vaccinated at the beginning of the epidemic season.
