Ukraine has created a bilingual dictionary of terms related to gender equality and human rights in the field of health

The WHO Office in Ukraine, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, has prepared a bilingual glossary of terms related to gender equality, human rights and equity in health. The resource will be a practical tool for those who work and communicate on these topics in the fields of medicine, education, human rights and politics.

The glossary provides clear definitions and examples of usage in Ukrainian and English, taking into account the principles of gender sensitivity and respect for human rights. It will help professionals to apply key concepts responsibly and clearly, particularly with regard to every person’s right to health.
