On 13 September, on Physical Culture and Sports Day, the TitanUA All-Ukrainian sports competition for veterans was held in Lviv. The event was part of a project aimed at supporting and socialising those who have gone through war.
‘These competitions are not just about sport. They are about resilience, self-belief and the strength to overcome any barriers. Each and every participant is an example for the whole country,’ emphasised the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.

The TitansUA project was launched in 2024 in the Dnipropetrovsk region and is rapidly expanding its geography. As noted by the head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, this was made possible thanks to the support of the President, relevant ministries, and partners.
The competition brought together veterans from different regions of Ukraine, showing that sport is not only about physical fitness, but also about recovery, team spirit and inner resilience. The participants were supported by well-known Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
