The Ukrainian State Film Agency has announced that it is accepting applications for the Ukrainian President’s grant competition for young artists in the field of cinematography. The aim of the initiative is to support socially significant creative projects and develop young talent under the age of 35.
To participate in the competition, applicants must send a complete set of documents by email to the State Film Agency by 16:45 on 31 October 2025. The set includes a hand-filled application form, a project estimate, attachments, and a form with information about the film project in Excel format. All files must be in PDF format, open for public access, and sent in a single email to granty@usfa.gov.ua, indicating the name of the project and the producer.
The total amount of funds allocated for three grants from the President of Ukraine in 2026 is 3 million 900 thousand hryvnias. The competition provides young filmmakers with the opportunity to realise their creative ideas at a professional level and receive state financial support for socially significant projects.
