A nine-storey building for two hundred residents is being renovated in Borodianka

In the village of Borodianka in the Kyiv region, major repairs are underway on a two-section residential building at 4 Semashka Street, which was damaged during the fighting in March 2022. Once the work is complete, 216 residents will be able to return to their homes.

Builders have already restored the damaged structures, installed new windows and balconies, installed a drainage system, and insulated the basement. Currently, the facade is being insulated and decorated, window slopes are being installed, and common areas are being repaired.

The project includes roof repairs, reinforcement of floor slabs, replacement of ventilation units, installation of new partitions, restoration of doors, insulation of external walls, glazing of balconies and repair of staircases. The building is being adapted to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility.

The restoration is part of a comprehensive project to reconstruct Borodianka, covering residential buildings, administrative buildings, educational institutions, engineering networks, and street and road infrastructure.
