A four-week training programme is launching in Ukraine to help communities implement modern rural development tools and establish cooperation with key stakeholders. It is aimed at local government officials responsible for economic development and rural development.
The programme will start on 30 September 2025 and will be conducted online. Participants will learn how to use European practices, in particular the AKIS and LEADER/CLLD approaches, how to create a stakeholder map, activate small agricultural producers, shape the local identity of the community and support social, youth and veteran entrepreneurship.
The organisers have prepared training for 75 representatives of communities with a population of up to 50,000 people who are not located in temporarily occupied territories or areas of active hostilities. Participation in the programme is free of charge, and selection will be on a competitive basis. Applications can be submitted until 10 September 2025.
