The government has extended living assistance for internally displaced persons from the most vulnerable categories of the population until February 2026. The changes provide for a more convenient and fair mechanism for receiving support.
Orphans, children deprived of parental care, and those temporarily living in foster families or family-type children’s homes will continue to receive payments even if they have more than 100,000 hryvnias in their deposit accounts.
It is also envisaged that if an unemployed person of working age registers with the employment centre as unemployed or finds a job after the termination of assistance, the payment will be resumed.
The amount of assistance remains unchanged: 2,000 hryvnias for an adult family member and 3,000 hryvnias for a child or person with a disability.
