As of 22 August 2025, Ukrainian farmers harvested 27,251.9 thousand tonnes of early grain and leguminous crops from an area of 6,700.9 thousand hectares, which is 60% of the sown area.
Wheat yielded 21,009.9 thousand tonnes from 4,873.1 thousand hectares, barley — 4,970.6 thousand tonnes from 1,304.6 thousand hectares, peas — 581.7 thousand tonnes from 258.6 thousand hectares. Other cereals and legumes yielded 685.3 thousand tonnes from 260.6 thousand hectares.
The leaders in terms of harvest are Odesa region (3,442.2 thousand tonnes from 1,083.4 thousand hectares), Vinnytsia region (2,385.8 thousand tonnes from 423.7 thousand hectares) and Kirovohrad region (2,204.0 thousand tonnes from 533.4 thousand hectares).
3,162.8 thousand tonnes of rapeseed have already been harvested from an area of 1,283 thousand hectares. Sunflower harvesting has begun in the Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions, and soybean harvesting in the Kharkiv region.
