The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a minimum wage of 25,000 hryvnia for specialists who provide support to veterans. The decision was made at a government meeting, as reported on its official website.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the purpose of this step is to strengthen support for veterans, female veterans and their families. According to her, together with public organisations and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, a comprehensive support strategy for 2030 has been developed and has already begun to be implemented.
In addition, a draft law has been prepared to ensure a comprehensive approach to veteran policy. Svyrydenko said that the next step will be the registration of the Law on the Fundamentals of State Veteran Policy, which covers all stages of the veteran’s path and takes into account current needs.
