As of the evening of 7 August, 301 people, including 23 with reduced mobility, had been evacuated from the Korabel microdistrict in Kherson. In total, 1,226 residents, including 56 children and 129 people with reduced mobility, have been evacuated from the danger zone over the past six days. Evacuation operations on the island continue.
At the same time, there have been cases of residents returning to the area from which they were previously evacuated. Such behaviour poses a serious threat to life and safety, so the authorities emphasise the importance of staying in safe places and not exposing oneself and loved ones to danger.
Residents who still need to leave Korabel can submit a request or obtain detailed information about the evacuation through the Kherson City Military Administration’s contact centre by calling 050-040-44-24 and 098-958-17-90.
