In June, as part of a state programme to compensate 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment, more than 400 agricultural producers submitted applications for reimbursement. Over the course of a month, they purchased 888 units of equipment worth more than 719 million hryvnia, of which the state compensated almost 150 million.

According to Oleksiy Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, June was one of the most active months of the programme. The growing demand for agricultural machinery not only contributes to the modernisation of agricultural production but also stimulates the machine-building industry, creating new jobs. At the same time, in July, the government allocated another 700 million hryvnias, which will allow financing about three thousand new applications.
Compensation for June was received by more than 120 Ukrainian machine-building enterprises included in the official list of the Ministry of Economy. Among them are large factories as well as medium and small manufacturers. These include tractors, trailers, soil cultivation equipment, irrigation systems and other modern equipment.
Since December 2024, when the current stage of the programme began, farmers have already purchased 4,284 units of equipment worth over 3 billion hryvnias, of which the state has compensated over 640 million.
The government also reminded about the new conditions for participation — from now on, only those agricultural producers who are registered in the State Agricultural Register can use the programme. Equipment manufacturers, in turn, can apply to the Ministry of Economy to include their products in the list. Currently, it contains over 13,000 items from 157 companies.
