The international platform Numbeo has published its updated ranking of the world’s most comfortable cities for 2025. Among Ukrainian cities, Lviv received the highest score, topping the national list. The city ranked 200th in the global ranking.
The Numbeo ranking is based on a number of indicators, including safety, quality of medical care, price index, environmental conditions, transport accessibility, and other factors that contribute to everyday comfort.

In addition to Lviv, the top 5 most comfortable Ukrainian cities include Kharkiv, Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipro. All of them are included in the general list of world megacities, but lag significantly behind the leaders.
The Hague (Netherlands) received the highest rating in the global ranking, followed by other Dutch and Swiss cities. These countries traditionally rank high thanks to their stable infrastructure, developed social systems, and environmentally-oriented policies.
Ukrainian cities maintain their positions in the global ranking of quality of life. This indicates the stability of basic services and the potential for further development, even in wartime.
