The 2025 admissions campaign has once again seen high demand for specialties that have long been considered oversaturated in the labor market. These include law, management, and philology. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykhailo Vynnytskyi during a national telethon.

According to him, the labour market is already overflowing with graduates in these fields, but demand for them among applicants remains stable. “Unfortunately, these specialisations continue to be popular this year and will remain so in the future,” he stressed.
Vinnitsky also reminded that there are a limited number of budget places for law, management and philology. Only applicants with the highest scores will be eligible for scholarships.
At the same time, there has been a noticeable increase in interest in other fields among this year’s applicants. The deputy minister noted the positive dynamics in the popularity of specialties in psychology, medicine, engineering, and secondary education. “This is inspiring,” he added, commenting on the choices made by young people.
