In the first half of 2025, 68,973 new families were registered in Ukraine. These figures were released by the Ministry of Justice, emphasising that even in difficult times, Ukrainians continue to choose love and a common future.

The largest number of marriages is traditionally registered in the capital – more than 14 thousand couples got married in Kyiv. The top five regions also include Dnipro (5,795 marriages), Lviv (4,735), Kyiv (4,163) and Odesa (4,099).
Despite the war and uncertainty, Ukrainians retain the ability to love, trust each other and build families. The Ministry of Justice emphasises that this is yet another proof of the resilience of Ukrainian society and its desire for a life full of meaning.
