Russians shell Donetsk region 14 times in 24 hours, evacuation continues

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops fired 14 times at localities in Donetsk region. Three districts came under fire – Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut. The situation was reported by the Donetsk regional military administration.

In the Pokrovsky district, the most destruction was recorded in Volodymyrivka of the Shakhovka community, where 15 residential buildings were damaged and 5 more were completely destroyed. A multi-storey building was damaged in Dobropillia, a private house in Novyi Donbas, and an administrative building in Bilytske.

In Kramatorsk district, a private house was damaged in Lyman, an outbuilding and a car in Kramatorsk, and two cars in Druzhkivka. In Kostyantynivka, a person was wounded in the shelling, an apartment building and three other private houses were damaged. Eight residential buildings were destroyed in Ivanopillia and another in Bilokuzmynivka. In Illinivka, one person was killed, three were injured, and six houses and two cars were damaged.

In Bakhmut district, four houses were reportedly damaged in Siversk.

Evacuations of civilians continue amid the escalation of hostilities in the region. Over the past 24 hours, 468 people, including 25 children, have been evacuated from the frontline areas of Donetsk Oblast.
