The social portal of the Ministry of Social Policy, which was launched across Ukraine in September 2024, has already received more than 51,000 applications. Through the portal, Ukrainians can apply for social services both for themselves and for their relatives or friends, such as the elderly or people with disabilities. The application can be submitted even without authorisation and an electronic signature.

An online application is a convenient way to apply for support, but the service itself requires personal interaction with a specialist. According to Anatoliy Komirnyi, Deputy Minister of Social Policy for Digital Development, the team is working to update the service to make it even more understandable and accessible to all users, regardless of age or digital awareness.
The platform is most actively used by residents of Poltava (9287 requests), Dnipro (8490), Khmelnytskyi (5995), Kharkiv (5966) and Kyiv (3962) regions.
Among the most popular services:
- In-kind assistance – food, hygiene products, hot meals, fuel, assistance with cleaning or cultivating land;
- Home care – support in self-care, grocery delivery, laundry, cleaning, etc;
- Social adaptation – assistance with education, socialisation and job search.
The portal also provides instructions on how to apply for specific types of services, including day care. The Ministry of Social Policy notes that the website update is focused on human needs and simplifying digital interaction with the state.
