The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the number of people whose children can receive full compensation for the cost of contractual education at professional higher education institutions. The relevant amendments were made to the Procedure for the implementation of the pilot project, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Veterans, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science.

From now on, children of those who sustained a disability as a result of injuries or damages sustained during the mass protests from 21 November 2013 to 21 February 2014 will also be able to receive state aid.
In addition, the Government has clarified the list of categories of veterans whose children are entitled to compensation. In particular, these are the children of persons who have the status of war veterans and are considered missing under special circumstances, as well as children of those who were deprived of their personal liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine.
