From 20 to 26 June, 3,632 new families officially appeared in Ukraine. More than three thousand couples decided to start a life together, despite the challenges of wartime — with hope, love and faith in a shared future.
The largest number of new marriages this week was registered in the capital — 834. The leaders also include Dnipropetrovsk region (315 couples), Odesa region (250), Lviv region (247) and Kharkiv region (225).

Every day, specialists from the state civil registry system help Ukrainians formalise important life events, including marriage, even in conditions of restrictions, anxiety and relocation. Thanks to their work, hundreds of couples have been able to officially register their relationships.
Marriages are concluded both in the traditional way through the Civil Registry Office and through an expedited procedure — within the framework of the “Marriage in a Day” project, which continues to operate in many regions.
